Inlay bridges

When the teeth adjoining a gap are not caries-free and an implant is not possible or not desired, an inlay bridge may be an option. This bridge will be fixed into the space that remains after the old filling has been removed. Additional tooth surface only has to be ground down minimally. The adhesive bond that connects the inlay bridge to the teeth will draw them together into a single block. Needless to say, such bridges are metal-free. Prior to the treatment this option needs to be evaluated carefully, as even minor dysfunctions when biting or chewing can affect the long-term success of this treatment.
